Exercise and Eating Myths Debunked![]() We are bombarded day and night, in magazines, TV, radio and papers with the latest weight loss discovery, quick exercise fixes, and pills and shakes that promise healthier, leaner bodies. Yet as a nation we aren’t losing weight. In fact 54% of the Australian adult population is either overweight or obese. Could it be we are confused with all the conflicting information we see and hear each day? To debunk a few of these myths click here ......... Weight Loss Challenge Update![]() Congratulations to all Vision particpants in the 2009 spring 9 Week Weight Loss Challenge. Some amazing weight loss targets and personal goals have been set. A new feature of the weight loss is the charitable target being set by each individual Studio. The Studio that loses the most weight during the challenge will be given $1000.00 from Vision Franchise to donate to their favourite charity. Some of the charities being supported are: The Sydney Children's Hospital, Diabetes Australia, The Heart Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis, Beyond Blue, Red Kite Foundation, Breast Cancer and many more worthy organisations . The Run that's Fun for EveryoneThe Blackmores run is on this Sunday, September 20th and there will be a sea of red with more than 500 Vision clients participating this year
. Vision will be there to support all our runners so keep a look out for the Vision flag near the start at Milson's Point pylon. Vision's Captain Accountability will be there to warm-up the group and get you all prepared for this fantastic event. When you finish your run look out for the Vision Team on the steps of the Opera House. There will be Vision balloons and goodies for all - also a great place to meet up with family and friends at the end of the event. The Vision Team will be looking to capture all the excitement and sense of accomplishment on video and camera, so don't forget to smile!!!! And as the great Thomas Edison once said 'If we all did the things we are capable of, we would astound ourselves.'
